Regulations

PEDALES DE LAVA is not a competitive activity even though there is a time register along some points of the route. The objective is to complete the tour having the best time possible.
The participants will need to bring the minimum personal material necessary for the tour such as a mountain bike in good condition for the route and the minimum amount of repair equipment needed.
Before beginning the itinerary, the participants will receive a route book from Pedales de Lave and other presents.
All of those who finish the route with the stage controls stamped accordingly will receive the exclusive Pedales de Lava cycling jersey.
Respect for the natural environment is paramount. The riding style during the route must have the minimum impact possible. We will never leave litter along the trail and will respect these established regulations as well as local authorities or owners of the land where we will be riding.
In the guided activities the members of the group will follow the indications of their guide at all times, without exception.
Pedales de Lava is an outdoor activity with a certain adventure component. The weather conditions, except in extreme cases, are not a motive for cancelling the tour.
It is important to consider the weight / size ratio at the time of preparing your equipment for the route. Think that you have to take everything with you and the terrain is not helpful. There is also the possibility (one which we recommend) to have the organization transport your equipment each stage of the course (see reservation page).
PEDALES DE LAVA recommends that its participants have insurance prior to the beginning the route. We recommend the following options:
-You can get insurance through us for the number of days you need for the route.
-Through your Regional Cycling Federation.
-Through the Catalan Cycling Federation which is valid from 1 January to 31 December and can be processed directly with the Federation. The contact number is 93 301 24 44.
-Through the FEEC (Catalan Federation of “Entidades Excursionistas”) choosing the policy of Modality D. For more information see www.feec.org
